Operations & Mapping Specialist/ Manager
About the Job
The position will be focused on supporting the Operations team by managing the day-to-day operations of our nationwide sensor network, GIS mapping/annotations for our AI Machine Learning technology Payver, and support for other staff (demo’s, system trainings, correspondence, marketing)
This position reports to the Vice President
- Work with the VP of Operations to plan sensor implementations
- Sensor hardware assembly, testing, shipping, installations, and repair. May require some travel for installs/removals/image collection
- Point of contact for customers regarding demonstrations and instruction of sensors and troubleshoot any issues
- GIS mapping, annotations, and support for our products
- Provide integral feedback on the product (and company) road map
- Expand current skills as well as learn new things
Desired skills
- 5+ years experience in hardware support or related field
- Experience with GIS/mapping
- Ability to speak professionally to customers
- Must be proactive and can work alone with minimal supervision
- Write business and marketing papers
- Great Microsoft Excel and some finance knowledge a plus
- Ability to think critically about logistics and help drive the process
- History of working well with a small, multi-talented team
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
