Alison Boan is a transportation technology and funding strategist with extensive experience advancing intelligent mobility, connected infrastructure, and roadway safety innovation. She currently serves as Account Manager – Blyncsy at Bentley Systems, where she helps state and local agencies leverage intelligent asset data to improve roadway safety, optimize operations, and support smart mobility initiatives. She has also held key roles at Rekor Systems, Q-Free America, and Econolite, where she specialized in public-sector partnerships, federal funding strategy, and intelligent transportation solutions. A national speaker on opportunities through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and on developing outcome-based procurement strategies, she helps agencies translate federal priorities into actionable results. A dedicated champion for diversity and inclusion, Alison is a passionate advocate for increasing the number of women in transportation. Her work focuses on leveraging technology, collaboration, and equitable investment to build safer, smarter, and more sustainable transportation networks for all users. She graduated with a BA in Communication and Public Relations from Michigan State University – Go Green! She currently resides in Chicago with her German Shepherd, Bruce (lovingly named after Springsteen).
