At Blyncsy, we’re looking for highly technical Data and Machine Learning engineers to help develop our pipeline and models that process hundreds of millions of georeferenced images from around the globe. We are a close-knit and ambitious team that specializes in rapid development, big-data geospatial systems. In this role, you will help drive the application of our existing tools and datasets, and guide the development of new tools and products.

This position reports to the CTO

• Work with the engineering team to build tools needed for the rapid development and deployment of image detection and segmentation models

• Research the latest available tools and provide direction for the engineering team

• Augment or develop neural networks for specific image-based applications

• Work collaboratively and propose creative solutions

Desired skills 

• BS in computer science, engineering, or related field. Those without a degree, but with the experience, are still encouraged to apply.

• Hands-on experience building data and machine learning pipelines

• Experience with NVIDIA and at least one of the modern distributed Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, MxNet Caffe, and Keras

• Programming experience in Python and C++

• Experience with image processing libraries such as OpenCV

Other things we’d love to see

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or Math

• Familiarity with technologies such as Google Cloud and Kubernetes

• Experience building large-scale machine-learning infrastructure that have been successfully delivered to customers

• Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs.

• Data Visualization development experience

• Full-Stack development experience

• Structure-From-Motion implementation experience

• Experience with Geographic Information Systems or Geospatial datasets

• Written and verbal technical communication skills with an ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
